Is this a replacement for my letterbox?

For all mail from participating companies, yes. They send their mail to your address and we deliver it digitally. Mail from companies that do not (yet) participate still arrives on paper.

How do I know a message is really from my bank?

Because every sender is verified before they may send a single letter. The sender logo only appears after that check. Fake mail through Plof simply cannot happen.

What does it cost me?

For you as a recipient, Plof is free. Senders pay us, because digital delivery is cheaper than paper. That is how the business model works — we do not hide it.

Can Plof read my mail?

No. Your mail is stored encrypted with a split key. No one at Plof can simply view your mail.

What if I change phone or address?

You update your details and your anchor moves with you. No forwarding service, no mail lost for months.
